Cooperation with Partner Institutions
1. Coordination with Armed Forces and Public Security Directorate:
- Every year, NIT holds two training programs in cooperation with the Directorate of Royal Supply and Transport in the topics of Defense Resources Management and Middle Management Programs.
- NIT works with the Public Security Directorate through holding several programs for:
a. Royal Police Academy.
b. Policewomen.
c. Jordan Traffic Institute.
These programs focus on Training of trainers (TOT), communication skills, administrative and financial skills and leadership skills.
2. Cooperation with the Training Units of Public Sector:
- Every year, NIT meets with employees of training unites in the public sector to introduce them to the latest in the field of training, starting by training needs assessment, designing and implementing training and ending with training evaluation aiming at enhancing the capacities of training units in the Public Sector which results on the performance of the trainees.
3. Regional Cooperation
NIT has good relations with different training institutes, with the Arabic organization for administrative development and different international institutes. NIT receives participants from Sudan, Yemen, Libya, Pakistan, Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and the Gulf.
4. Cooperation with International Agencies
- Since 2002, NIT holds Training program on agricultural management in the farthest east financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development/ IFAD and the German Corporation for Capacity Building and Development (In Went).
- (7) Trainers from NIT received accredited international certificates in TOT from the International Fund for Agricultural Development/ IFAD.
- (6) Trainers from NIT received international certificates from the USAID in Policy Making and Advocacy.
- Cooperation with Japan international Cooperation Agency to implement training programs for employees from the Ministry of National Economy of the national Palestinian authority in the fields of administrative and financial skills and ministry of local government.
- Within the cooperation with the World Bank and the initiative started in Beirut in 2005, a network was established for cooperation and coordination between the training institutes in North Africa and the Middle East (GIFT – MINA), NIT was chosen to be among the steering committee. As a result, a training of trainer’s workshop was held in Morocco in addition to launching a website for this initiative. The third meeting for the steering committee was held in NIT to decide over the goals of this initiative represented in improving the quality of training through holding training of trainers programs, developing training methods and packages, exchanging experiences and useful use of the website.
